Who I am
I am a bubbly Speech Pathologist and absolutely adore my job. I have been fortunate enough to meet and work with many children and young adults over the course of my close to 3 years of clinical experience. My greatest joy is seeing my clients achieve their goals to build their communication capacity - it’s the best feeling in the world.
I have experience working with extraordinary people with a wide range of diagnoses and abilities and aim to make therapy (fun)ctional, meaningful and personalised to them. Some of the additional training I have completed to complement the interventions I provide are:
- Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) such as LAMP and Key Word Sign
- Literacy: Sounds~Write and Talk 4 Writing Tier 3 Remediation Courses
- Feeding: TalkTools training
and a range of certified play-based and early-childhood intervention framework modules to consolidate my skills.
I strongly believe in and encourage working closely with families, schools, allied health professionals and other relevant partners involved in your child’s care to achieve the best outcomes. I look forward to meeting you at Spectrum Therapy and to the journey that lies ahead.
