Who am I

I am a Physiotherapist with a passion for working with babies, toddlers, and children. I enjoy working closely with families to achieve their goals and support participation and inclusion across environments.

I have experience working with clients with a range of disabilities including muscular dystrophy, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, spinal muscular atrophy, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Friedreich’s ataxia, Rett syndrome, autism spectrum disorder and global developmental delay.

My therapy interventions include but are not limited to, exercise and hydrotherapy programs, development of gross motor skills and prescription of assistive technology. I aim to make therapy sessions enjoyable, by learning my clients’ interests and utilising toys and games. I have knowledge and experience in the prescription, including funding applications, of a wide range of assistive technology, including orthosis, walkers, adaptive bikes, postural support seating, scooters, and manual and powered wheelchairs.

I believe in working in partnerships with families, schools, and other support networks to build meaningful relationships and achieve the best outcomes for my clients. Becoming a mother of two young boys has given me a new and deeper understanding of the love and hardships that come with parenting. I know that my clients, your children, are the most important things in your world. I will hear you and work with you to ensure the brightest future for your child and your family.
