Who I am
My name is Ashleigh (Ash) and I have been a speech pathologist in the disability sector for more than six years, focusing on supporting children of all ages to communicate in fun and functional ways that are meaningful to them and those around them. I am also passionate about supporting medically complex children to participate in mealtimes positively and safely - whether that is through eating orally, tube feeding, or a combination of the two. I have completed a number of additional trainings to inform my service provision, including:
- SOS Approach to Feeding
- PROMPT
- DIR Floor time
I enjoy working across a range of environments in line with early intervention best practice principles, including the home, school and daycare settings, supporting everyone around the child to facilitate their development as a collaborative team. I am proud to be a part of the Spectrum team and look forward to working with you soon!
