Spectrum Occupational Therapy Services
Occupational Therapy intervention aims to support individuals to participate in their every day occupations. Occupations are the activities we all complete on a daily basis such as play, self-care, leisure and work. An Occupational Therapist (OT) assists individuals to participate in these occupations as independently as possible by helping individuals to develop skills, by modifying the environment or task and/or by prescribing assistive technology.
Spectrum OT will work with you and/or your significant others to establish functional and meaningful goals, with the aim of increasing your independence and participation. Therapy will be provided within the home, school and/or community settings, as relevant to you. Depending on your goals and preferences, therapy may be provided solely by Spectrum OT or as part of a transdisciplinary approach, working collaboratively with your chosen therapy team.
