Who I am
I am a graduate Speech Pathologist, who received my certification from Edith Cowan University in mid-2024. Prior to this, I was lucky enough to complete a 10-week clinical placement at Spectrum Therapy WA in 2023 and commenced work as a Therapy Assistant in 2024. This experience helped me determine that the ethos and values held by the Spectrum team, strongly aligned with my own. I am looking forward to building my clinical expertise and have a special interest in speech sound disorders.
I have nearly 20 years of experience working in childcare and as a support worker for children with Autism and ADHD. I am committed to providing evidence-based, client-centred care and strive to create a supportive, engaging and fun environment for the children I work with.
I have an almost unhealthy number of children and dogs, so I don’t know what free time is, but any time I do have is spent training and competing in dog agility, starting and not finishing crochet projects, and endlessly tidying my house whilst bemoaning the fact that it looks like it’s never been cleaned!
